Eye Surgery Considerations

High-end community review

It was a weekend consultation, but there wasn’t a single patient? there, so I was able to consult right away without waiting. The consultation went in this order: CT -> photos -> manager -> director -> manager. The manager felt very professional. They explained things calmly, and they seemed very knowledgeable. The director was finishing surgery, so I waited about 15 minutes before the consultation. Since they had just come from surgery, they seemed a bit flustered, and while explaining, it felt like they wanted to wrap things up quickly with, "Do this and this, and it’ll be fine," in a rushed way T_T I think the director consultation lasted less than 5 minutes. They recommended autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + donated dermis, but didn’t say which dermis they would use. They also talked about functional nose surgery, and unlike other hospitals where there was no mention of rhinitis, they caught that here. It felt odd that they were explaining ENT procedures as if it were a discount on a procedure reimbursed by insurance. The cost was the highest I’ve ever seen. They said there would be a 50,000 won discount if I booked that day, which made me chuckle a bit inside; lol. Still, I liked that there was no pressure to book.
