I got lip filler from Dr. Dahyun? at Orbit. I had lip filler done at other hospitals about three times before, and I had one dissolution treatment too. My original lip condition was that the lower lip had been dissolved of filler, while the upper lip still had a little left, including the corners. My original lips were flat, with a long width and short height. What I wanted was: 1. as little asymmetry as possible 2. vertical expansion rather than horizontal 3. a moderately noticeable double-lobed shape
I went to the clinic and first had a consultation with the manager -> they asked what kind of lip shape I wanted, so I explained everything -> I put on numbing cream and waited 40 minutes -> the doctor performed the procedure But as soon as the doctor came in, they asked what lip shape I wanted, which caught me off guard. If that was going to happen, the manager consultation did not seem very meaningful.
Still, I could see the female doctor was trying to reflect my needs as much as possible. As asymmetry and central volume were the most important things to me, I emphasized those. I wanted a double-lobed shape, but since my original lip shape probably would not allow it, she honestly told me what could not be done could not be done.
The filler was domestic Chaum, and there was not much pain or foreign-body sensation. The foreign-body feeling was only on day 1, and from day 2 it was almost gone.
Overall, I am satisfied with the lip shape, but it was a little disappointing that what I said in the manager consultation did not carry straight through to the doctor consultation.
