I originally went to the Hongdae branch of Ppeum to get acne medication, but I had a bad memory there because they were unfriendly. Then I got a text about a lifting event and went in for a consultation.
The consultation manager talked with me, and I said I wanted two things because I don't have much cheek flesh: Liftera for the face area and InMode for the jaw area. They recommended Shurink and InMode instead, so I decided on that and immediately applied numbing cream and waited. The wait wasn't especially long, and including the numbing time it took about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I heard some places don't even apply numbing cream, but I prefer it when they do.
If you're lying on the bed, the doctor comes and performs the procedure. There wasn't really much of a consultation, but they explained what effects it has and the two InMode modes, then did the one that suited me best (but I still can't remember whether it was FX or Forma). They also checked the treatment area I wanted and went over the finer details. During the procedure, I was able to feel relaxed and even make small talk.
But the doctor said, why get Liftera when you can get Shurink? Because my face doesn't have much fat, they thought that would be better. When I said I had asked for that and the manager told me to get this instead, they got awkward and didn't say anything. It didn't hurt during the procedure, and I didn't get any bruising afterward.
What I liked about the procedure was that with Shurink and InMode, not only the intensity but also the procedure time matters, and I know it should be at least 30 minutes. Even though it was an event price, I liked that they still kept the procedure time. I think I got it for about 40 minutes. If the price is like an event again next time, I'd like to go again.
And I haven't tried InMode alone, but I strongly recommend the Shurink + InMode combination. It lifts things up really well.
