The doctor is kind. Or rather, you might ask why kindness matters when skill is what matters. In my case, though, the surgery itself felt kind in a way; it didn't feel like they were doing anything reckless. It just felt standard and smooth, like it was being carried out without problems. I felt reassured during the surgery. Since the person doing it seemed like someone who would never get angry in life, I felt calm. I looked around and couldn't find even a single report of a complication here, so I decided to go ahead and pay. The price is good. Compared with other revision-surgery clinics, it's crowded and busy, so the atmosphere is a bit chaotic, but it was touching that the doctor said up front that I should let them know anytime if I felt uncomfortable. That small thing, though it may not seem like much, moved me... especially compared with my first surgery clinic. My nose was done with autologous costal cartilage, and it turned out nicely without issues.
