I still have the splint on, so I do not know how the final result will turn out. If the swelling goes down and I end up with a result I am satisfied with, I will actively recommend Iconic T_T
Why? Because I am honestly at the extreme end of being very, very sensitive... I visited several places and if I disliked even the slightest thing, I would cancel the surgery right away.. Then I ended up getting a consultation at Iconic, and the director's consultation style felt very calm and detailed above all else. They were meticulous and talked a lot about how, even if surgery is done, it should not harm function. (I also got the feeling that if any problems came up later, they would take responsibility and take care of it.) More than anything, they look at each patient in detail and pay attention to them T_T The manager also gave a very detailed consultation, and I booked the surgery right away! When we were setting up the pre-op design, I had prepared dozens of questions and concerns on paper and brought photos too, and both the manager and the director answered everything sincerely without seeming bothered.. The director also understood exactly what I wanted, which was such a relief!! And I also had good chemistry with the director, so during the consultation I never felt hurt or anything like that. I was able to have surgery in a very comfortable state.. It was not that they did anything especially extraordinary, but somehow this clinic just gave me a sense of comfort. For someone as hypersensitive as me, I wanted to find a clinic that would give me this kind of stability, and it feels like the surgery went well too, so my heart is pounding.. I had the cotton removed today, and the manager was still so kind.. I feel at peace knowing I do not regret my choice to have surgery here, just T_T I will come back after the splint is removed to talk about how it looks.
Addendum ** Honestly, I already strongly felt it was a success even before removing it, and now that the splint is off, it is really beyond my expectations (you have to account for the swelling). Even I think I look like a broker now, but I am absolutely not a broker, and I am one of the people who wants to beat brokers to death..
Why did I feel like it was a success? Once I got a sense of the director's consultation style and personality, I felt they would also be meticulous and careful during surgery, so I had the impression it would go well even before the splint came off. Also, I am very sensitive physically, so I woke up several times during sleep anesthesia, but there is no need to worry about a shadow doctor, From last May until now, I kept going around to different places for consultations and visiting clinics, even canceling surgery at other places, and in the end the place I had surgery done was Iconic. I feel proud of myself and grateful to the director haha. I also really like the manager and the nurses.
I forgot the most important part. I really brought three sheets of paper and organized the design I wanted, sketches, and the nose carefully, but they carefully checked and answered each question and photo, and really understood exactly what kind of nose I wanted. So that means the nose turned out well lol
