Eye Surgery Reviews

Park Dong-gyun review

I had double eyelid surgery by buried suture 4 years ago. First, a distinctive point: they opened the operating room door and performed the surgery to reassure the guardian. Both my parents and I were satisfied with that. The consulting manager wore a Piaget watch and dressed very stylishly.. She had presence. I remember the consultation with the manager taking much longer than the consultation with the director, but hospitals in Gwangju are all like that anyway... At the time, I asked for a line somewhere between in-out and semi-out, but the director said that with buried suture you can’t choose the line because you only know after trying it.. The result was an in-line that I did not prefer, and it took about 3 months to become natural. It looked very noticeable when I looked downward. Now it’s fine. When I closed one eye, the knotted thread looked bluish-green? It was only visible if you looked really closely, and now, 4 years later, it’s not visible anymore (probably absorbable thread). At present, the buried-suture line has loosened and an out-line double eyelid formed above it, but since it loosened I’m actually satisfied. It seems this place is famous for incision plus very large-eye surgery, and I actually saw the eyes of patients who came for follow-up; they were more natural than I expected. So if you’re doing that, I’d recommend it, but for buried suture, go somewhere else.
