It was not painful or uncomfortable. The only slightly uncomfortable part was when he pressed my lips firmly with two fingers while shaping the filler. Of course it felt awkward because someone was holding and pressing my lips, but it did not hurt. I did get bruising, but it was gone after a week.
About a month later I had another touch-up, and this time I asked for more volume in the lower lip. They did it that way, and it definitely seemed like they were considering my face shape as well when performing the procedure. My face is on the long side, so if too much is added to the lower lip, it could make it look even longer, so they kept it balanced.
Honestly, because my goal was just to increase volume, I may have been more satisfied since there was not much difference of opinion between the doctor and the manager, but even now, 3 years later, it is still 1.5 times bigger than before I had the procedure.
This time, when I went to another clinic for forehead filler, I asked the doctor whether I should also get lip filler, and he said it did not seem necessary.
