First of all, the consultation manager was rude and not good at all... Even though she isn't a doctor, she was questioning whether I had done something here or there, telling me to do this and that, and basically judging my appearance herself.
The pricing is totally elastic, too. They keep piling on one thing after another, and a surgery that cost in the 6 million won range in 2021 was quoted at 8, 9, or even 10 million won... They say it depends on the person, but honestly that part made the least sense to me. That's what broke my trust the most.
The doctor used to work at a high-volume clinic, so patient handling was not great. It felt like they just wanted to make things easy to see for themselves and easy to grasp for the patient by taking a CT scan. The consultation was uncomfortable the whole time, and unless I had prepared a lot of questions, there was barely anything to talk about, so I ended up leaving quickly. But from the drawings they did, they seemed to have artistic sense and good manual skill. Overall, they seemed thorough and meticulous, but also a bit cold and stern, so I didn't feel much human warmth.
From 2021 through the summer of 2022, there were many good reviews, though I don't know if they were manipulated. But starting around June 2022, prices kept going up and a lot of complaint posts and side-effect posts started appearing, so I became hesitant about surgery. And around that time, a famous influencer openly promoted the clinic name on KakaoTalk, so it felt like they suddenly got a lot more patients... I even asked privately in a cafe, and 9 out of 10 people said they weren't happy with their nose, so after preparing everything and even thinking about dates, I gave up on surgery.
They've only been open for about two years, so it seems like I should be more careful and watch how things go for the people who had surgery earlier before getting it myself... The nose and chin fat are already flying off, right? Let's be cautious!
