I think aftercare is important at any hospital. Starting four months after surgery, I visited several times because of an inflammatory reaction with swelling along the bridge of my nose, but they added various extra charges simply because the revision surgery date was set for more than six months after the operation. They told me to pay more than one million won extra.
When I asked about the revision method, the director seemed busy and just said that if it was non-open, they could simply take out the silicone and that it was nothing special. Since it was being removed because of inflammation, I wanted to know whether the capsule would also be removed and what would happen to the already sharp tip if only the silicone were taken out. I also had to call and ask about that myself. It felt absurd that I had to ask the patient to get answers when this was not even a free surgery.
Also, I had rhinitis surgery at the same time, and I have been dealing with a runny nose for a year.
The hospital facility and the staff's kindness are excellent. However, aftercare when a problem arises is very disappointing, and the AS period is extremely short.
