This was a revision double eyelid surgery, and I went in for a consultation because the buried stitch I had done somewhere else had loosened. At about 8 other places I consulted, everyone said it had to be incisional. That was because I already had experience with a buried stitch coming loose, and because of the nature of my eyes they recommended against buried stitch. A few places even said my skin was slightly sagging, so I should have only a very small amount of skin removed. But this was the only place that said their one-point method was their own surgical technique, that no skin excision was needed, and that it was a buried stitch that would not come loose, so it would be fine. It really felt like everything would go perfectly? At first I was really tempted and thought, Oh?! My eyes can be done simply without excision or an incision! I almost booked it. But I thought it would be right to look into it more first, so I put it on hold and came back. Well........... In the end, I decided to have it done somewhere else.
