When I told them via KakaoTalk consultation that I was asking for an overall consultation for things like brow-bone shaving and eye-hole shaving, they said that for those two surgeries I would need to bring an X-ray, and that I would have to go to Yousung Radiology in the next building and pay 54,000 won out of pocket, but the consultation fee itself would be free. But the day I went happened to be a holiday, so when I actually went to Yousung Radiology, that clinic was closed. So I had gone all the way there from the provinces, but I ended up going to the hospital without getting an X-ray. The person at the front desk kindly said they were sorry for not thinking it through, and I thought, well, that can happen. When I was there, it seemed like the person at the front desk was on the phone for a consultation, and they were talking about how many transgender patients come in and that it is a surgical method developed by Director Kim Nam-bok, so the detailed surgical method is a secret, things like that. They also said many Japanese and white patients get surgery there. When I consulted with the director, he did not try to push sales or cut costs, but he had such strong pride in his own style that he was not the type to hold on to customers. He looked at my forehead and said I would need four procedures: brow bone, eye hole, lifting, and art volume. He said if I took an X-ray and looked at the condition of the bone, the price would differ by about 550,000 to 600,000 won. So I thought, ah, if I do all four, it comes to about 6 million won. He also recommended other things besides those surgeries, so I was like, huh..? What is this? My eyes had previously had ptosis correction, but one side still had more severe ptosis, and he said surgery on only one eye would be possible, and quoted 2.9 million won. He said it would be possible three months after forehead surgery, and that surgery was also possible even while getting orthodontic treatment. But he also said it would be good to do surgery that lifts the front cheek fat and relieves protruding eyes, and I was thinking, do I really need to go that far...? (The costs mentioned above were what I discussed separately with the coordinator after speaking with the director and leaving the room.) Sigh, haha. I went thinking only about my forehead, haha, and then all these recommendations and estimates about my face made me feel completely overwhelmed. Still, it seems like I can get a fuller look without implants, and my forehead is such a total mess that I do want to go through with it! For reference, two years ago I had a consultation at Labom for endoscopic forehead lift surgery, and there too they recommended it, saying they could see how I would age. But unlike here, since I only discussed volume and shaving and did not go into other procedures, I think there was some event discount back then, so it was 2.62 million won. This place is definitely expensive.
