Eye Surgery Reviews

K-Art Community Review

I understand that this is the only hospital in Korea with a high number of surgeries for medial brow bone osteotomy, so even if it may not be a safe operation, I had already made up my mind before the consultation that I would just do it. The consultation was kind, and everyone at the hospital was also kind. My forehead had a wide frontal sinus area and the brow bone was thin, so the surgical conditions were not good. The pain and swelling after surgery were personally quite severe. The pain continued for up to 2 months. For 2 weeks, I did not look like a person because of the swelling. After surgery I had to wear a headband for 6 months, which was not just a little inconvenient; 6 months is really long. During the surgery itself, the pain was not severe. I am very sensitive to pain, but it was at a level I could fairly easily bear. The pain for a week after surgery was very hard. After surgery, the side profile improved especially a lot. The front view is of course better than before surgery, but I am not completely satisfied. The scalp incision was very noticeable for about the first 3 months, but after that it seemed to improve somewhat. For people like me who cannot have brow bone shaving and have to undergo osteotomy instead, it seems like a surgery that may be acceptable.
