The consultation time was way too short. It ended in just a few minutes, as if they were rushing me. There was no proxy surgery, and it is true that the one-person director did everything alone. Since the person doing the surgery was the director themselves, they seemed to be trying to avoid risk, because if a surgery was even a little difficult, they did not want to do it. I only had a consultation last year, and I had also gained 8 kg compared with now. I had used hot compresses a lot, so my skin was red and felt a little saggy because of the heat compresses. I walked for an hour to get there, and because it was hot I was panting, and my skin also felt red. I had no makeup on. I definitely had a lot of facial fat and wanted full facial liposuction, but the director said that if I did liposuction, the skin would sag even more, and pointed to the already sagging area beside the nasolabial fold, saying things like that, so they did not want to do that area either. (It might not have been sagging skin, just fat from weight gain.) They did not want to do this and that either. Still, it felt like they would do everything except maybe the nasolabial area, and after the consultation I went home and called to try to set a surgery date. Then the manager unilaterally said the director had decided not to do the surgery, and they would not do the surgery for me at all.
During the consultation, they clearly said we would do those areas and that surgery would be done, but right after the consultation I called, and they said the surgery had been refused. Because it was a refusal, they said they could not do the surgery at all. I wanted to set a surgery date, but because the director refused, they could not do the surgery at all lol This is the first time I have ever encountered something like this. It seems the manager just arbitrarily blocked me from getting surgery. If surgery is not possible, the doctor should tell me, but the director said they would do it, while the manager said it was not possible, so I could not get the surgery. At another hospital that day, they gave me a quote for full facial lipo without any problem and said they would do full facial lipo. They also said they would do the nasolabial area too.
I want to do it because the price is cheap and the reviews are good, but this is a hospital that feels off in many ways. The director is a general practitioner, not a plastic surgeon. The manager from last year single-handedly prevented me from having surgery. During the doctor consultation, they said they would do all liposuction except the nasolabial area, but when I called after going home, I could not get a surgery date. The manager arbitrarily refused the surgery lol I cannot even believe it.
But the director at the other hospital is a plastic surgery specialist, though a staff doctor, and the career is short. I had even fixed the date, but the director who was supposed to perform the surgery went to the United States for training, so the surgery could not happen...
