I had a consultation here for facial liposuction about two years ago and had the surgery.
It was my first cosmetic procedure, and I wanted to get rid of the cheek fat I had since I was young, so I saved up money and went in for a consultation. Back then it was my first procedure, so I did not think doctors' skill or the style they pursue would differ by hospital; I just assumed they would all be similarly good, so I visited only two or three places and chose Daum.
The hospital was not a large one, but a small private clinic. The staff were all kind, but the manager was way too pushy about forcing add-ons T_T T_T I had no intention of getting thread lifting, but she kept recommending it and it was awkward; I said no and only got liposuction.
The consultation with the doctor was really good. They put my photos up on a large screen in a PPT style and explained the areas for improvement and the problems, then went into detail about what would be best for each part. I did have a bit of prominent cheekbone, and they said they would remove that area properly, but in the end I did have contouring surgery.. Still, the cheek fat itself was removed well.
The intraoral incision was uncomfortable, and the compression garment was different in design from other hospitals. It was a tiger mask? And the compression garment also had to be paid for in cash.. I later learned that at other hospitals, the cost of the garment is usually included in the surgery fee.
The surgery result was.. the cheekbones improved a bit, but the cheek fat and double chin did not improve much.. The consultation was good, but the result was disappointing.
In the end, last week I had re-surgery at a famous face-contouring hospital.
