But the reason I honestly can’t just recommend it outright is that I don’t know whether this hospital will suit everyone... ㅠ Even famous hospitals have people who are dissatisfied ㅠㅠ And I’m scared it’ll look like promotion lololol
So I can’t tell you the hospital name, but there were really a lot of things I liked about it, so I’m just writing this like a review...
I had already had revision surgery by incisional method 4 times. So anyone could see the tissue looked somewhat damaged,,, I didn’t think much about the damaged tissue. The real problems were mucosal eversion and severe asymmetry ㅠ Because of this, I didn’t even take photos and couldn’t talk while looking people in the eye. If our eyes met, I kept thinking, what will that person think when they look at my eyes......
Then I happened to find out about revision surgery, and honestly, I was in a hurry. I wanted to change these eyes quickly, and my top priority was a hospital where surgery could be done the fastest!! I narrowed things down through online research and went to consultations in person, and there were coordinators who handled things well and coordinators who didn’t ㅠ One of them said that she understood how badly I wanted to do it quickly, but let’s not rush too much, let’s look into it a little more carefully before doing it, and that calmed me down a bit. In the end, I decided on a hospital
On the day of surgery, my assigned coordinator wasn’t there, so another coordinator came, and she was just as kind. When trying out the line before surgery, they kept marking it over and over to the point that I felt they were really careful. Even after I went into surgery, the director moved around and had me open my eyes, close them, and looked from multiple directions
Then I came home, and at every follow-up, the director personally checked on me. That’s obviously expected, but sometimes I had seen people in a community say they couldn’t see the doctor, so I had been anxious. The director knew all the things I had asked about through KakaoTalk, too, and remembered them... When I went in for follow-ups, they checked all my previous inquiries again and asked me about them
The day before yesterday, I went for a follow-up after a long time, and the director checked very meticulously. When I asked because the line seemed to be forming a slight double fold, they reassured me, saying that there is still swelling so we probably need to wait a little, and that there are methods like this, this, and this; there are various ways to readjust the line, so let’s look again then
So I don’t feel anxious either, and I think I keep going because I trust the director. I’m satisfied with the surgical result too... Now I even take selfies sometimes lololololololol I was so distressed I couldn’t even eat, so deciding on a hospital was hard, but I think I chose well
I hope everyone planning revision surgery also meets a director who thinks about the patient and a hospital that is truly right for them. I came back to this community after a long time because of my follow-up haha lololololololol
