If you go and say you want underarm hair removal, they just let you pay right away. There wasn’t really any consultation. But I originally planned to get 5 sessions and then decide whether to keep going, and they said hair removal usually needs about 10 sessions, so they just said it was this much for 10 sessions and took my payment. It was my first time, so I was too flustered to say anything
The hair removal itself is contact-type, and if you just go and hold your arm up, they apply gel, then suddenly a doctor shows up and does the treatment quickly, and it’s over in about 20 seconds. The doctor changes every time, so I don’t know who it is. When the hair removal is done, a staff member wipes off the gel with tissue, but I’ve had 3 or 4 sessions now and once they didn’t wipe it off, so I was just left with my underarms all moist... that part was kind of annoying.
The effect is that after about a week, the underarm hairs just fall out easily. I think the hair has become a bit thinner and grows less too... I still haven’t really felt the effect of semi-permanent hair removal.
If I went back, I’d go somewhere friendlier.. The prices seem about the same at these factory-style places. And I heard non-contact is better, but this place uses contact, so keep that in mind.
There are a ton of people, so a reservation is necessary, and even with a reservation you might still have to wait a bit.
