I developed an accessory breast with a lump under my armpit, so after consulting by KakaoTalk I visited the hospital. The staff and doctor were all kind, and the facility was neat and nice. The surgery ended well, and they handled the insurance-related matters well too. But there was not really any aftercare. About 2 weeks after surgery, I visited the hospital, and they said the operation had gone well. Because there was a slight chance of a scar forming where the liposuction had been done, they gave me a scar injection for free.
That was the only hospital visit after the surgery, but it had healed well. Then a few months later I had pain in my armpit again, so I asked about it. They said the surgery had gone well and told me to get checked at another surgery clinic, so I paid over 100,000 won for a chest ultrasound at another hospital, and they said some accessory breast tissue was still left. So I contacted this hospital again and went back. They explained that the accessory breast tissue was attached too close to the armpit, so to remove it completely they would have had to remove the armpit skin and stitch it up, which would have left a large scar, so they did not do that. I wish they had told me that from the beginning.
