Filler Reviews

Doctor Designer Review

I had lip filler done here for the first time in my life. A man wearing glasses did it, and at first the shape was really pretty and I liked it. But after a week, bumps similar to eczema started appearing along the lip line and it turned kind of creepy.

I was so shocked that I went straight back to the clinic, and another female doctor told me that the filler had been injected too superficially into my lips and that it needed to be dissolved. She apologized. My heart really sank...

I had heard from a lot of places how painful the dissolving shot is. Anyway, it had to be dissolved, so I got it done. Wow, it was unbelievably painful, frightening, and horribly agonizing. The dissolving injection... every time it was inserted into the upper lip, tears just kept streaming down, and the assistant next to me held my hand tightly while I clutched a plush toy... I do not want to think about that pain again.

Since I was crying nonstop, the female doctor must have felt very sorry, because she said she would put in filler again with a good product in the amount of cc I wanted and would do the touch-up herself. Even after the dissolving was finished, I was still in pain and crying, so I asked if I could just get a refund. She said of course, but if I only got a refund like that, I would just have been in pain for nothing and it would be too unfair, would I not?

So... out of stubbornness, I said I would try again. She said the filler needed time to dissolve anyway, so come back after a week, and that is how I got filler again... She even took care of the touch-up later, haha.. There was a side effect at first, but after that, the response was really good and they handled it well, so I was satisfied.. But that pain... I never want to experience it again. It would have been nice if it had gone well from the start, so it still leaves some regret.
