I lived with a round raised scar from having a mole removed above my philtrum for almost 20 years, and I had surgery because I wanted to get rid of it. Now that I think about it, maybe all the reviews I saw were advertisements. T_T Compared with the scar I already had, the incision was much longer than I expected (three times the length), so it was more noticeable than before, and I had to keep Steri-Strips on for about six months, which made care annoying. T_T I was so scared that if I did not take care of it properly, it would turn into another scar. If I had known it would be like this, I think I should not have done it. T_T Another place I was considering seemed to minimize the incision even if a scar would remain, and I do regret a little whether I should have gone there instead. T_T It is getting less visible with time, but the white cut mark still shows a bit even with makeup.
