I had double eyelid surgery around the time I finished the CSAT in 2016. I had it done with the buried-suture method, and as time passed it now feels exactly like my own eyes. No scarring, and it's been fine. I had a bad reaction to IV sedation and ended up vomiting after it, but they did not rush me and waited until I felt better, so I was grateful.
