I had incisional double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. One eye loosened and became a partial double lid, and the other ended up thick and sausage-like, with an out-line. The epicanthoplasty left a severe sunken scar.
On the day of surgery, the chief director personally designed it, cut the tissue, and left. The remaining closure was done by someone who came in as the deputy director. There was no prior notice before surgery.
It was only local anesthesia, but it was not properly numbed, so I felt the pain of the epicanthoplasty cutting exactly as it happened. They suddenly injected me and then numbed it.
Anyone could see the asymmetry. But the doctor told me it came out well.
The consultation manager was the least polite of all the consultation managers I have dealt with. She kept tapping the business card in front of me with her fingernail, and even the explanation was given with a big sigh, as if it were a nuisance.
