I had a hidden double eyelid, and during the consultation I said I wanted it a little thicker than my existing one. I was told, "Who even gets thick double eyelids these days?" I had double eyelid surgery here 12 years ago, and it created a sausage-like line. For about three or four years, I even slept with my eyes open, and only one eye developed eyelash eversion and showed the mucous membrane. I was under a huge amount of stress. Even up to five years after the surgery, my acquaintances were still asking when the swelling was finally going to go down. My eyes had no fat, and the hidden double eyelid was made of soft skin that would fold and unfold. I never even asked for a thick double eyelid, so I still do not understand why the surgery turned out that way. I also got eyeliner tattooing to make the double eyelid look thinner, and I did eye makeup every single day. Now, 12 years later, the upper eyelids have sagged and now cover the sausage-like line a bit, so I no longer get told it looks swollen, but I ended up with a depressed scar and a stepped eyelid contour, so I am finally going for revision surgery. From what I found online, they advertise that they are good at revision surgery, but please be good at primary surgery first before talking about revision.
