The doctor was incredibly busy with procedures, and between the next procedure slots I had a consultation for about 30 minutes. They did ask what I was curious about, but even when I showed sample photos, it didn’t seem like they were planning to follow them haha They explained as kindly as possible the purpose and goals of the procedure, and used before-and-after photos of patients with similar cases to explain how things could be corrected on my face. My conclusion after the consultation was that even if I had something I wanted, because my bone structure and tissue are different from the person in the photo, it felt less like they would make the exact same shape and more like they would narrow down what the patient wanted within the doctor’s surgical method (for example, if you bring a photo because you like a glamorous nose, they would create the most glamorous line and height possible while still keeping it natural for that patient). Because each person’s nostril position and shape are different when raising the nose too, the tip also needs adjustment, and since everything is case by case, they didn’t seem to give a definite yes that they could make it exactly like the photo. They were very confident about side effects and safe surgery, and said they had tried to avoid nose surgery, but because the YouTube algorithm kept feeding them so much about it, lately they’ve been doing noses only. They said nose surgery is done only in two time slots, 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
