I have had double eyelid surgery three times. This was the first hospital where I had surgery, and I went there through an acquaintance's recommendation. At first, I was a country person and it was in Seoul, and since it was a place recommended by someone I knew, I vaguely thought it would go well. But on the day of surgery, they said they would do local anesthesia during the sedation anesthesia, and I do not know if the local anesthesia was not working, but not long after the surgery started I was screaming and it was a complete scene. I was crying because I was in so much pain, and only then did the director do local anesthesia again. If local anesthesia has already been done once, shouldn't it not hurt the second time? It still hurt too much even when they did the local anesthesia again. I am not especially sensitive to pain. If I were, I could not have had surgery three times. Anyway, the surgery was a failure. The left side had a pretty line, but within a few months the front part came loose, and the right side had a higher line than the left and the line itself looked strange. And it seemed like the eye correction did not work at all. Also, the lateral canthoplasty on one side stuck back together.
