Since I was little, my big square jaw has been my biggest complex and source of stress. I tried Botox and massage treatments for years, but I felt that if I kept putting it off, my stress would only get worse, so I finally decided to go ahead!
The surgeon and all the staff were never pushy at all, and they counseled me based on the areas I wanted to address. They said the cheekbones and jaw didn’t really need to be done right now, and suggested waiting to see the progress before deciding on further treatment later. They gave me accurate and realistic advice instead of pushing procedures, which I really appreciated.
I had decided that if I were going to have surgery, I wanted to do it at this hospital after seeing the surgeon’s background and expertise. The aesthetic sense and surgical approach were exactly what I wanted, so I felt very comfortable and trusted them.
If you’re thinking about square jaw surgery and are scared or worried about doing it through an intraoral incision, I think I can recommend this surgeon’s endoscopic approach from my own experience.
I had major swelling and bruising for about 2 to 3 weeks, and after that the minor swelling kept going down. I ate pretty much normally too, as long as it wasn’t something extremely big or tough to chew, I could just cut it up and eat it well!
I’m looking forward to seeing how much more it will go down. These days, taking photos makes me happy haha.
