For eyes with a lot of upper-eye fat, I had been deliberation about inner canthoplasty because of the epicanthic fold! On the day of surgery, it just felt a little stinging and itchy, and the pain was more of a numb, tingling sensation! With swelling, there was a foreign-body sensation every time I opened my eyes, but around the 2-week mark the swelling gradually went down and I don't think there were any major discomforts! I kept drinking swelling-care tea every day and did swelling management (?) with that!!! At 5 months now, compared with the one-month mark, the inner-canthoplasty scar is much less noticeable, and the double-eyelid line has become thinner and more natural as the swelling went down a lot! Right now only the line area is a little red, and overall it feels almost like my original eyes, so I'm really satisfied haha. People around me also keep saying it turned out naturally and well, and I hear a lot that I made the right choice, so I think my satisfaction is even higher. Especially, I keep hearing that my eyes look much more round than before! As time passes, I can feel that it is becoming even more natural!
