Hi everyone!! I posted a 3-month review after my under-eye surgery, and now that it's been 6 months, I'm writing another one!! I found it fun to write the last review.. and it was even more fun because everyone here paid close attention to it! So here's my 6-month review again! Even at 3 months, the swelling had gone down a lot and the under-eye area seemed to have settled, so I already wrote that I was satisfied then?? But now that it's been 6 months, I really think you should still give under-eye surgery until about 3 months for recovery. In the beginning after the surgery, I looked in the mirror every day and kept worrying about when it would become natural. I think it's better to wait, assuming recovery continues until 3 months ✔ At 3 months after surgery I was still very satisfied. The swelling had gone down a lot, and when I wore makeup it didn't show at all. So in my review I wrote that it already felt like my original eyes and that I liked it! If I had judged too hastily after 1 to 2 months, I would have just worried for no reason. I think it's right to wait until about 3 months for the under-eye area to settle ✔ At 6 months after surgery It really feels like my original eyes now. It looks natural on the outside too, and even when I touch it, it doesn't feel like I had surgery! I posted photos that I took on purpose with a similar vibe to before the surgery! Of course they're unedited haha Looking at these similar angles, doesn't the before-and-after of the under-eye surgery stand out much more? Before, the shadow under my eyes and the puffiness made me look tired even under indoor lighting, but now my aegyo-sal is still there and it doesn't look overdone, so I'm satisfied. Whether indoors or under sunlight, I no longer feel like I need to worry about my under-eye area or turn my head away haha I used to think my under-eye shadow and dark circles were the first thing people saw in photos, so even after taking selfies I'd delete a lot of them, but these days I just take them confidently I think that's what I'm happiest about. Also, when I was debating whether to get the surgery, I was worried that even my aegyo-sal would become awkward But my aegyo-sal is still there! ✔ What I felt during recovery I don't think you should look at under-eye surgery for just a month or two and decide it failed. I thought all the swelling was gone at 2 weeks, and even at 1 month I thought it was almost over, but that wasn't the case~! So if anyone is worrying early on because of swelling or awkwardness, I think it's better to treat it as part of the recovery process and give it at least until 3 months before judging, a little more patiently. Swelling and under-eye condition differ from person to person~! I'm glad I got both under-eye surgery and buried sutures done! Now I can relax and be satisfied!
