It’s already been 2 weeks since I had facial contouring surgery I think I really suffered a lot starting the evening of the surgery I had my chin tip and square jaw done at a clinic, and because the throbbing pain was bad, I had a pain-control injection connected and asked for an anti-inflammatory I was hospitalized for a day with a drainage tube in my mouth, and it was really uncomfortable I couldn’t tell whether I slept or not, I was so out of it... I think the swelling on days 3-4 was seriously intense, but still, the pain seemed to decrease a bit On day 7, I had the sideburn stitches removed, and it felt a bit better Since I couldn’t eat anything, I lost a lot of weight Starting a few days ago, the swelling has slowly begun to go down, and I’m going to have the intraoral stitches removed! As for sensation, only part of my chin tip feels like it’s anesthetized, but it’s okay I really do think recovery is important I’m going to try to manage it well by consistently getting the care the hospital provides and going for walks...
