My eyelids had sunken in a lot, so I went for consultations at a few places to get fat grafting. The staff consultation was thorough, and the consultation with the doctor was even more detailed, so I decided to have the surgery. (They said that if I got fat grafting under the eyes too, it would help the face look less tired, so I decided to do that together.) It was a bit unexpected when they suggested considering forehead reduction surgery because my forehead is wide, but after the surgery I did not get bruises, and after about a week I could still manage daily life, at least in a somewhat imperfect way. They said they would overcorrect by about 30% to account for graft loss and fat drop-off, and the eyelids still look a little puffy, but I really like how the area under my eyes turned out.
