I didn’t know when I was very young, but as I grew up, I naturally became very interested in my appearance, and because of that, I lived for almost 20 years stressed out because of my protruding jaw and square jaw. Double-jaw surgery isn’t something that costs just a little money, so I couldn’t easily think, “I should just do it,” and only kept thinking that someday I wanted to do it. Recently, I chose hospitals and did all my consultation visits in December.. haha
ㅇㅈ -Since it’s a hospital that has been famous for a long time, maybe because the director also has long experience, it felt like he neatly and simply summarized everything from the explanation to the diagnosis and whether surgery was needed. The director was cheerful and kind.
ㅇㅇ(Sinsa) -I had a consultation with Director ㅅ, and when I was looking into places, it was one of the very popular ones, so I went, and I felt like I could understand why it was popular. The facilities were clean and white, and the director also explained things well while looking at the CT and was kind.
ㅅㅇㅍㅇㅅ21 -A place I personally wanted to visit. One of my friends from university had asymmetric double-jaw surgery there, and even when I met her in person, I felt like the surgery had gone well, so it was a place I wanted to check out. They took a 3D CT and consulted while looking at it. The facilities were white and clean. Even though there was no consultation fee, it felt like they did a lot of tests and the consultation was thorough. Director ㅈ was very kind.
2 university hospitals -My personal impression was similar, but during the consultations, they really did feel trustworthy, and since they’re university hospitals, the stability would be good, but the price definitely felt expensive compared with private clinics...
In conclusion, after visiting private clinics, I felt that they also seemed to have good stability and well-organized systems, so it really felt like it didn’t necessarily have to be a university hospital. After thinking that, I chose from among the private clinics, and personally, I’m most drawn to ㅅㅇㅍㅇㅅ right now. I haven’t booked surgery yet, but I’m going to think about it only until the end of this week and then book the surgery~~ Even after going to all the consultations, I did think about it for quite a long time, but still, by my standards it’s a major surgery, so I think being cautious is better.. haha
