Nose Surgery Reviews

Three months after primary nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage

This is my review three months after rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage. The swelling in my nose seems to be completely gone now, and while my nose is still firm, the sides of my nostrils seem a little softer. Still, I’m always careful around the tip of my nose. Because of the nasolabial angle correction, my upper lip still feels a little like it’s curling inward, but it has improved a lot.

The part I find disappointing is that sometimes my runny nose just flows out. I can’t really blow it, so I have to dab it away with tissue and clean inside my nose with cotton swabs to keep it clean, which feels inconvenient T_T Sometimes it suddenly comes out and catches me off guard... T_T

At my recent follow-up, they said there was no swelling at all and that everything had settled in completely. They also said it would get even softer, and that the runny nose would improve if I rinsed my nose with saline for nasal irrigation.

Still, everyone keeps telling me it looks pretty and turned out well, so I’m always grateful to Dr. Kim Hyunju at [Clinic A].
