It's already my 5-month review -! Before surgery, I was just overwhelmingly afraid. I'm a huge coward to begin with, and since the nose is the center of the face, I had just been living my life thinking, let's just get by~ lol Then one day all of a sudden... the moment I thought, this isn't going to work anymore..., I started searching everywhere and booked the surgery right away. (My action speed is also number one),,,,. The criteria I used to choose a hospital were: 1. It should not be a large hospital / 2. It should be a revision-specialty hospital / 3. It should be a one-doctor clinic. That was basically my standard while going to consultations and looking up hospitals. And I prayed that I'd meet the doctor I wanted. While I was going around, each doctor had a different style, and I also saw some who forced(?) a style that didn't suit my face, but the moment I met Dr. Jung Tae-young, he pinpointed my nose's shortcomings right away!!!!!!!! lol I suddenly felt unlimited trust, and thought, this is it... lol I had surgery with a 2 mm silicone bridge, a 4 mm nasal tip, septal cartilage + ear cartilage + donated rib cartilage. Because my septum is small, I had been told donated rib cartilage might be added, and it was added haha. I had basically no swelling from the day of surgery onward,,,,. That was the most surprising and mysterious part. Thinking that means the doctor must have done the surgery really well, I spent my time happily. If it weren't for the splint, I probably could have just gone around like normal lol. There wasn't any bruising either haha. Even though I work in service, I took the splint off on day 7 and went straight to work. The 1-month and 2-month follow-ups were also good,, which is of course expected. For about 3 months I think my nose was in the settling-in phase, and haha now I can scrunch my nose comfortably, and the size of my nostrils and the incision area aren't noticeable, so I'm doing extremely well,, haha Especially since I can wear lighter makeup than before surgery, I'm so happy lol. I don't need to contour my nose so hard anymore, so that's really convenient and nice. I hope everyone becomes prettier,,,, I think I succeeded for now, so I'm feeling good lol
