Eye Surgery Reviews

Results when VN eye surgery and nose surgery are done together

I thought this might help some of you who, like me, are planning both eye and nose surgery and are wondering whether to do them at separate clinics or all at once at the same clinic, so I’m leaving a review. I had only done an epicanthoplasty before, but my eyes still looked small and like deep-set eyes that felt heavy, so I had natural adhesion + eye correction + epicanthoplasty + dual canthoplasty done together with Director Kim Tae-hoon (it changed the inner corners of my eyes from a shape that looked heavy and cramped to a shape that looks open and refreshing, and once the double eyelid and eye correction were set, I got a glamorous semi-out line! This was my first nose surgery, and I thought just changing the eyes wouldn’t make my impression glamorous, so I had it done together. My nose was short and even from the front it gave a slightly upturned-nose impression despite no surgery I used autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage, and after the doctor checked the size of the septal cartilage and judged it usable, septal extension was also done. At first Director Oh Seung-il explained two methods: surgery using cartilage granules and surgery without using them, but since my original nose was very small and I wanted a more glamorous nose, I chose the method that could achieve the nose height I wanted. I really liked how he explained the various methods through virtual simulation! For reference, the biggest reasons I decided to do eye and nose surgery together were: - I wanted doctors who specialize in both eyes and nose respectively - I started looking into it from late 2025 and wanted to have surgery as quickly as possible (I didn't have much time to spare) - I wanted to reduce the number of clinic visits...... This may just be me, but honestly the care the clinic provides is also very important.... However, the distance from Gangnam/Sinnonhyeon to my home was too far, so I couldn't go back and forth often If I did them at different clinics, each clinic would have its own treatment schedule, so having to visit both places separately was such a burden. I told the manager this when I went to VN, and they said if I did them together, they would try to match the treatment schedule as much as possible, so I went ahead with the surgery. After surgery, I had the stitches removed in week 1, and because I had less bruising and swelling than expected, recovery was not difficult. I also got swelling-laser treatment at the clinic, but honestly, since I didn't have much swelling from the start, they said I could receive it unlimited for a month, and I only went twice and didn't get any more! I think this may vary by person! Also, personally, I recommend that anyone planning to have eye and nose surgery at the same time do it at the same clinic. Even after surgery, you’re the one spending your time, and if you think about the balance of the facial features as a whole, it seemed better to do it at the same clinic. This is just my own theory, but maybe because the doctors at the same clinic were involved, when diagnosing the eye surgery they also considered the nose, and when diagnosing the nose surgery they also designed it with the eyes in mind. Honestly, aside from that, the doctors' consultations were really detailed.... and all the staff were kind.... I had a lot of positives, but if I wrote everything it might look too much like an ad haha so I’m just posting that I’m satisfied with the surgery itself.
