I had it augmented with autologous costal cartilage, and because I have a bulbous nose I think they tied the cartilage and removed some fat, but I did not know whether they also used a columellar strut or extended the bridge. After posting about it, people said that if it was done with autologous costal cartilage, there must have been a support graft, so I touched the columella and it felt hard. It is too high and my nose itself does not suit me, so I am thinking about removing it, but if there was autologous costal cartilage and a support graft too, would the difficulty be higher? Would the chance of contracture be higher...? My nose was extremely small to begin with, and I did not even have a columella, but now the columella has become too high too, and I am so scared that if I take it out I might get contracture or something like that.

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 3 Review of a thin-skin, contracted-nose, repeated-revision surgery
It has been 6 months since my nose surgery. I came to Lowell Plastic Surgery thinking this would be my last nose surgery in my life. My problems were that the nasal skin had become thin and looked chalk-like, and the nose was bent to the…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 3 Removal or revision surgery..
I made my nose too high, and my impression changed completely. So should I just remove it entirely, or do revision surgery? Since it was made too high and looks unnatural, if I lower it, can it go back to my original impression? But I’m…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 3 I have been suffering from headaches of unknown cause since about 3 months after my nose surgery
I was just thinking it was probably a coincidence that the timing overlapped, right? But there are actually quite a few people with the same symptoms who said they got better after removing it. I have tenderness throughout my nose, my eyes
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 3 If I remove it
My nose used to be small, but after being built up it became long and big. If I remove it, will it go back to being small like my original nose? I made it too elevated, so now it looks long and weird T_T
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 3 Will everything be okay 5 or 10 years after full removal?
Literally... after full removal, even 10 years later, could I live without problems other than some sagging as I get older and eventually become an old lady? I am so worried. People who had surgery a few years ago are probably fine, so…
