But I went in planning to just get a consultation first, and after talking with the director, I ended up deciding on surgery right away. It was the first hospital I had been to, and at first I had planned to consult at other hospitals before deciding, but after talking with the director, I didn't even go to any other consultations and decided immediately! I had researched a lot before going, so the director's surgical skill in this field is truly the best.
You go to sleep and wake up with the surgery already over. On the day of surgery, I only had some dizziness from the anesthetic, and from the next day on I felt completely fine. Of course, until the swelling went down a bit after surgery, I couldn't really go outside, so that was frustrating. But now, looking back, I'm so glad I went through with the surgery! I think it is the best thing I have ever done in my life.
