Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

It's been one month since my cheekbone and square jaw surgery, and I finally feel like I can breathe again

I’m just a little over one month out from cheekbone and square jaw surgery, and I’m honestly so happy with it. I’ve always had some asymmetry, so in photos one side always looked more prominent, which was seriously stressful. That’s why it took me months just to decide on surgery, and I really did a ton of research. After going to consultations at several places, I chose [Clinic A]. Being able to review CCTV and having an anesthesiology specialist on site were the biggest factors for me. I’m the anxious type, so I wanted to rule out anything that might make me uneasy. I fasted the day before surgery and followed the precautions, and honestly I was very nervous on the day of surgery. But when they explained how they would adjust the lines and correct the asymmetry, I relaxed. After surgery, for several days, swelling and tightness made even opening my mouth really hard lol. At that point I wondered if I had done the wrong thing. But the hospital kept scheduling lymphatic care and laser treatment, and the swelling started going down at a visibly different pace, so if you do get surgery, I hope you receive good aftercare... Now that a month has passed, I can eat most foods without discomfort, and when I feel my jawline, it does not feel like one side is jutting out anymore. Everything feels more balanced overall, which is amazing. The asymmetry definitely looks less noticeable too! There’s still some residual swelling, but I’m satisfied with the result at this point, and I can tell that the careful management in the beginning clearly helped. Now I’m just waiting for the remaining swelling to go down.
