Eye Surgery Considerations

Clinic review

I had my first surgery 2 years ago. I followed a friend to the same place, but I am planning a revision at another hospital because the nasal tip has drooped and the glabella silicone is too high. For reference, my friend's nose turned out well, so it seems noses are just case by case.

At the time of surgery, I had silicone 3 (carving), ear cartilage, and final refinement, and the price was in the low 2 million won range, though I am not exactly sure.

I think the high glabella happened because I already had a hump nose, so there was an existing nasal bridge, and even though a low silicone implant was used (I should have gone without an implant T_T), the bridge ended up high. Since the bridge was high, the nasal tip made with ear cartilage seems to have lacked support and drooped... T_T

During surgery, the director seemed to pursue natural results and safety, and did not additionally recommend anything.

What was disappointing was that when I asked questions, there was no clear answer and everything always felt a bit vague.

I recently went back for a consultation while looking into revision surgery, and I heard that these days they use not only ear cartilage but also septal cartilage and costal cartilage! If I do revise, they said they would use donated costal cartilage + silicone + more final refinement, but I do not want donated costal cartilage, so I passed.
