My nose is long and droopy because I have a long nose and a hooked nose, so it really looks elongated. On top of that, the columella also hangs downward, so the side view looks worse than the front view. That's why I always have to take selfies from a slightly high angle T_T
But after going to consultations, the opinions were so different from clinic to clinic that it shook my nerves. Some said the nasal bridge should be done too for a natural look. Some said just working on the tip would be enough. Some warned that if the columella is handled wrong, the nostril shape can look odd haha
I really didn't know what to trust, so the thing I focused on most during consultations was whether they first pointed out what was actually wrong with my nose in its current state. Honestly, places that just say they can do whatever I want made me feel a bit uneasy.
Anyway, when I consulted with the director, he looked at my nose for quite a while. He first checked and explained how the nose tip would change if the columella were lowered, and whether the hooked nose was due to skin or cartilage. That made sense to me, and I liked that he only talked about what was truly necessary without extra fluff. I decided to do it here, and after the surgery I'm posting a review again.
