I was always told I looked tired or sleepy. My under-eyes didn’t look hollow, and my eyes weren’t small either, so I kept wondering how I could improve this area and ended up visiting Dr. Park Gang-gyun, who has studied eyes in depth and professionally, because I wanted to ask him. When I first entered Oh Ho Plastic Surgery, the staff welcomed me warmly, and after a brief explanation from the director, I met the doctor and told him about my concerns. I was told that people with cases like mine usually get upper blepharoplasty, and the doctor actually showed me before-and-after photos of cases similar to mine. After hearing the explanation, I felt like, yes, this is the answer. The fat above my eyes was also part of the problem, so I ended up having surgery after the doctor said we could reposition it to make my sleepy, weak-looking eyes appear clearer. For a few days after surgery, there was some swelling, so it needs to be managed. It feels like about a month has passed for me, and there is no visible bruising or swelling on the outside. I have been continuing to take care of it, and they said more swelling will go down in the future. For now, the sleepy, weak-looking part I had been worrying about seems to have clearly improved, and it feels like my eyes have become twice as large compared with before. That said, it does not look like I had surgery, or like it is excessive or artificial. I like that my image is preserved while my eyes look more visible. I’ll need to keep watching it to know for sure, but I am very satisfied.
