One of my goals for surgery was that my nasal tip is small and slightly round. It’s not a bulbous nose. But I wanted that round feeling where the columella protrudes slightly, like a lion nose? if that makes sense.
Even though every nose is different, each director tends to produce a somewhat consistent shape, right? But this director had many reviews where the columella was brought out flat, so that part did bother me a little. So I showed photos like that and said I wanted the nasal tip to protrude slightly and have a round feel.
But when I got home and looked, my nasal tip just looks like a big swollen nose. I know it looks big because of swelling, taking that into account, but if the columella is supposed to come out slightly, shouldn’t it protrude more even with the swelling? Is it because it’s lifted too much right now, or do I need to wait for more swelling to go down? Even if the swelling goes down, I don’t think the columella will look like it comes out more
I looked at same-day reviews from people who had surgery in the columella-protruding shape I wanted, and their nasal tip shape did look a little more projected.
What should I do? I’m going tomorrow to have the nasal packing removed. It seems like he just made the nasal tip in his usual style. I probably can’t get it corrected, right?
