ㅁㅇㄷ is famous for noses, and with their ads and YouTube, they felt the most trustworthy, so originally I didn’t even consider anywhere else. An older girl I know got her nose and facial fat repositioning done there, and it turned out so well. She was already pretty, but she became Instagram-story goddess-level pretty, so I decided that if I ever got it done later, I’d go there. But the director who did hers left and opened ㅁㅅㅌ right across from that clinic. So I went with that girl to ㅁㅅㅌ and got a consultation there first. First of all, the director’s style did not match me at all, and the consultant seemed too young The quote for eyes only was 1.89 million won. I said my eyes right now look too sharp and fierce, and I like that the horizontal length is long, but I want to make my eyes a bit rounder. I said I wanted a gentle impression like IU or Hanni, but they said first of all, they couldn’t change much from the line I already have. They said my eyes are already slanted and long, and even with surgery they can’t create a totally new line. They kept drawing lines for me, but I seriously didn’t like a single one..... It was incisional, and they were going to do an upper epicanthoplasty. I think the basic eye surgery was 800,000 won, and then with inner corner epicanthoplasty it became 1.89 million won... They even said this was the discounted price for a partial model. I was already dumbfounded at this point. But for the nose, on top of the basic fee, they said my nose is too small so they’d need to use donated rib cartilage, and the donated rib cartilage was 1.1 million won... And forehead filler was 110,000 won per cc for 10 cc, and they expected about 7 cc, so 770,000 won, with VAT it would be over 800,000 won. But instead, if I did full-face fat grafting, they said they’d do it for 800,000 won.. I don’t know why. I kept saying I wanted filler because I don’t want my thigh cut open, but maybe they weren’t very confident with filler; they kept coaxing me, saying if I did forehead fat grafting, they’d do it at the discounted price of 800,000 won Anyway, for forehead, eyes, and nose, the total quote came out exactly 6 million won. At first my budget was 4.5 million, so the price didn’t match at all, and I came out thinking that the director’s way of shaping the eye line and aesthetic sense didn’t really match mine.
The very next week I went to ㅁㅇㄷ, and here, after the consultant listened to my concerns, she flat-out said that if my concern about my eyes wasn’t that big, I shouldn’t do my eyes. Since it’s a clinic famous for noses, I could do my nose there, and eye surgery is a simple procedure so I could do it there too, but she thought the improvement I wanted wouldn’t happen, so I probably wouldn’t be satisfied. I actually liked that she said it so decisively. The director also slowly drew and explained my side profile, and showed me drawings on a tablet. Maybe because I’m an art major, I know tablets are hard to handle, but seeing them draw a good line in one go made me think they had good manual skill? They seemed to have that kind of delicate ability I’m the type who, at any clinic, doesn’t really look at the director and just wants to fit the price range and my schedule, so I don’t really know this director’s name either. They were just kind of young. I’m sure it definitely wasn’t either of the two chief directors. For the nose, septal cartilage, nasal tip correction, columella lowering, and donated rib cartilage came to a total of 3.3 million won as the partial model discounted price. And for the eyes, natural adhesion, ptosis correction, and upper epicanthoplasty were 1.1 million won, so the total was 4.4 million won. I didn’t get a filler consultation at all; I’m planning to get it somewhere else. It’s my first surgery for both nose and eyes, and I don’t think either is cheap, but ㅁㅇㄷ felt much more trustworthy and better, so I paid a 100,000 won deposit that day. They said if I don’t do the surgery, they’ll refund 90%, so I just thought of it as a consultation fee and paid it. They also gave me a cash receipt.
Anyway..... But people say to go around to 5 places for consultations, so I’m going to go to one more clinic, ㅈㅇㅌ, where I could do eyes and nose together. For the rest, I’ll separate nose and eyes. For the nose, I got a strong recommendation for ㅇㄴ, and the price is a bit expensive, but I’ll at least get a consultation. For eyes, through a community quote there’s ㅍㄾ, which supposedly does it ridiculously cheap at 290,000 won with some discount, so I’m going to at least get a consultation there...
If you know any clinics that are good at eyes, please recommend them I got recommendations for several places for nose, but eyes seem like such a common surgery, and yet for 10 years I haven’t found a clinic I like..
