BeforeBeforeAfterAfterAfter Hi, I used to write small reviews all the time because I was bored, and now I’m finally writing an official review! A lot of people asked about the hospital info, and I had it done at Soda. I had been considering facial contouring surgery for a long time because only the bones showed in my face, and by my standards, it was a face that really needed it, so I did it.
For choosing the hospital.. I thought a lot about it because my surgery could be done in two different ways and my nerve line was not high either, but from what I saw, the director here seemed the most trustworthy, and when I judged everything overall, this place seemed the best, so I chose it.
The day after surgery was seriously painful. The nurse said I looked like I was in good condition, so they gave me less painkiller, and maybe because of that, as soon as I took medication, it stopped hurting! Right after surgery, I could see that my cheekbones had gone in, so I remember feeling around, looking in the mirror, and being shocked.. I endured the pain because of that.. Also, I’m the type who doesn’t swell much, so by week 3 all the major swelling had gone down, and now (one month in) it feels like it’s going down little by little? It doesn’t feel completely settled yet. They say swelling from facial contouring goes down until late, so I think I’ll have to wait about another half year for it to settle.
Until the stitches were removed, I had a tightening sensation in the front chin, but two days after getting the stitches removed, the tightness improved! Now it has completely disappeared, and sensation in the front chin has all come back. Since I had almost normal sensation right after surgery, now only the cheekbone area feels numb/tingly. It feels like certain areas are slightly anesthetized! Well, this will probably come back too like the front chin did. I guess the cheekbones recover last.
I had very little fat and only the bones were developed, and my goal was just to have at least an ordinary, average face shape. At other hospitals, I was told not to expect much because my nerve line was low… but they didn’t barely shave it or anything, and they did the surgery as well as possible, so I’m very satisfied! I can feel on my face that they did their bestㅋㅋㅋ
There’s still some residual swelling and it hasn’t settled yet, but I’m happy because it came out cleanly. As I said before, every time I look in the mirror I’m so happy that it feels like I’ve done orthodontic treatment, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation therapy all at once. The swelling-care specialist also tells me every time she sees me that my face has gotten smaller, and said it seems like I had the best effect among the people she has seen. Anyway, she is so, so kind and her touch makes me sleepyㅎㅎ The nurse also stayed awake and took care of me, but I couldn’t say thank you because I had no voiceㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m also really grateful to Director Kwon Jae-hyun for doing the surgery safely and wellㅠㅠ To the point that I chose the hospital after seeing the director! Anyway, so far I’m very satisfied. I’ll come back when the swelling goes down more!
