I visited 2 places for double-eyelid consultations, after asking friends whose results looked naturally good by my standards!
ㄴㅌ - The doctor there wasn’t originally in charge of eyes, but of contouring. A friend of mine had natural adhesion there after a recommendation from an older sister’s acquaintance, so I went too. When I got there for a consultation, the manager my friend had met couldn’t match my schedule, so another manager handled mine. They said I might be fine with just a small stitch-up without recommending much, and then I met with the director. As soon as I went in, I took off my mask and they quickly checked my eyes once or twice, then told me to look in the mirror. When I looked at the line they drew, it was exactly the one I wanted. My concern was that the doctor was in charge of contouring... that’s the concern... this hospital has a separate eye specialist.
ㅇㅇㄴㅋ - A place where a coworker’s younger sibling’s friend had surgery twice (at first it was so natural that they wanted something bigger and more glamorous the second time), and a hospital that was recommended because the coworker’s younger sibling’s friends all had their eyes done there and said the results were good! There is one director. I started with a consultation with the manager here too, and she was extremely kind and detailed, but suddenly recommended ptosis correction, so I was like, hmm... then when I consulted with the director, they said it wasn’t necessary, and the manager immediately dropped that opinion. The director was also very gentle? and kind during the consultation. But when drawing the line, they never took off the mask and just kept adjusting the eyes... and even kept making the line? bigger than my own eyes... maybe because they thought the line would drop over time later? I’m not sure if that’s just the director’s style... But the manager showed me review photos and the eyes in those were pretty... so I’m still deciding... Of course, I went because of the photos from that coworker’s younger sibling’s friends.
