Day 9 review!
Mentor Xtra 375/400 Transaxillary incision
I was really worried after surgery, but maybe thanks to the pain-control injection, it was more uncomfortable than painful! It wasn’t like the pain was truly unbearable~~ It only hurt when I was lying down and getting up because I felt pressure on top of my chest! The pain-control injection was uncomfortable for me, and since it didn’t hurt badly, I removed it a few hours earlier than the time the hospital told me! Because of my schedule, after surgery and recovery, I took a flight home the same day!! On the day of surgery, I took a morning flight up, had tests at 9, surgery at 3, then recovered and took the 9 p.m. night flight home! On the way to the airport, there was one time when I felt nauseous and thought I might throw up, but other than that I was okay!! And up to day 3 there was pain, but from day 4 it was really more discomfort, and the pain decreased significantly! Now on day 9, since I had a transaxillary incision, I can barely lift anything heavy ㅠㅠ Even carrying an iPad for a few hours was hard. I think you can assume lifting anything with your arms at all is too much! Since the dissection area is large, I think I understand what people mean when they say transaxillary incision has a long recovery period! On day 8 after surgery, I bathed and washed my hair by myself and did everything~~ And my mother was worried, but she said they’re not too big or bulky and look pretty~~ There’s still a lot of upper fullness, so I’ll have to wait quite a while for the shape! The director said he could put in up to 400/430, but I chose 375/400! I do wonder if I should have gone a little bigger, but I think moderate is good, also for safety! And honestly, the hard part after surgery is that because of the implant weight, my neck, shoulders, back, and lower back hurt more...ㅜㅜ So on day 7, the hospital did a lymphatic massage. They applied aloe gel and then massaged me with a warm device, and it felt so good..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ For the week-1 aftercare, they did a breast pack, breast LED, and lymphatic massage for the neck and shoulders.
That’s my week-1 review!
