Clinic consultation review for revision eye surgery near Sinsa Station!

I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty in 2018!

At the time, I wanted it to look as natural as possible, so the doctor reflected that, but now I want to raise the line more and also open the outer/lower corners, so I started looking into revision surgery.

I went around to clinics near Sinsa Station, and mainly consulted about improving the fact that the line near the inner corner of my eye has become thin and isn’t visible (it feels like an inline crease) + my outer eye corners are upturned, making my eyes look like small “cockle-shaped” eyes.

1. Clinic A Doctor’s recommendation: natural adhesion double eyelid + posterior/lower canthoplasty I thought upper/epicanthoplasty would be essential to make the line near the inner corner visible, but they didn’t recommend that. They said my eye shape is such that whether I do upper/epicanthoplasty or not, it isn’t related to creating the line(?) They said posterior/lower canthoplasty would probably improve my eye shape a lot, that they could open about 3 mm, and usually about 1 mm reattaches afterward, so I could see a total improvement effect of 2 mm! The doctor seemed experienced and explained a less-likely-to-loosen(?) surgical method unique to this clinic compared with other clinics, so I trusted them a bit more.

2. Clinic B Doctor’s recommendation: non-incisional ptosis correction + natural adhesion double eyelid + upper canthoplasty This was the first doctor who pointed out that I use a lot of forehead strength when opening my eyes! After hearing this doctor’s explanation, I realized what my issue was.. But this doctor didn’t recommend the posterior + lower canthoplasty I wanted because there wasn’t enough spaceㅠㅠ

3. Clinic C Doctor’s recommendation: non-incisional ptosis correction + natural adhesion double eyelid + upper canthoplasty Here too, they pointed out that I need ptosis correction.. My double eyelid line had become so thin that if I opened my eyes using only eye strength, the double eyelid line would get hidden and make me look fierce, so without realizing it I had been raising my eyebrows with forehead strength to open my eyes in a way that showed the double eyelid lineㅠㅠ My eye-opening strength wasn’t extremely weak, so I was recommended non-incisional ptosis correction.

4. Clinic D Doctor’s recommendation: natural adhesion double eyelid + upper canthoplasty + posterior/lower canthoplasty Here, they said my eye-opening strength was almost normal and didn’t particularly recommend ptosis correction. They carefully measured lengths with a ruler and designed the line! But they were the only place that didn’t ask me to lower my mask during the consultation, so that felt a bit off.. hahaha

6. Clinic E Doctor’s recommendation: incisional ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery This was a place specializing only in eyes! The doctor had serious presence.. They seemed very professional, and I trusted them. Actually, here they didn’t recommend surgery for my case. If they had to recommend something, it would be incisional ptosis correction and double eyelid surgery to improve opening my eyes with my forehead! But personally, I had some resistance to incisional surgery, so that was a shame. If I ever end up needing another revision after this, this is a place I definitely want to visit then!

Every clinic says something different, so I don’t know what to doㅠㅡㅠ I guess it’s right to go to more consultations, right? Sob sob, thanks for reading this long post.
