Day 2 review after rhinoplasty

Hi, I’ve always really hated my large, long nose, so this time I finally made up my mind and got nose surgery. The surgical areas were osteotomy, hump correction, nostril reduction, nasal tip (ear cartilage), and long-nose correction. I only visited exactly two places in person. The first place I went to had so many people that it felt like a factory-style clinic, so I didn’t feel very drawn to it. I decided on the second place I visited. The reason was that the consultant seemed to know a lot about the surgery, and the professor in charge of the surgery didn’t talk a lot, but I liked how he pointed out only the necessary parts clearly while explaining things. Originally, the professor said the line would probably look prettier if I put in just a little silicone, so I decided to use silicone, but I have a pretty strong aversion to silicone, so later I asked them to leave out the silicone Then the professor kept touching the bridge of my nose around the glabella and seemed regretful.. So he asked if, if he had leftover ear cartilage after putting it in, he could crush it and put it only in the glabella area, and I said that would be okay. On the day of surgery, I heard the explanation of how the surgery would be done and went in right away. I had eye surgery for treatment purposes in the past too, so I wasn’t scared or anything. After it was over, the most uncomfortable thing was that my nose was blocked with cotton, so I could only breathe through my mouth, and my throat was completely like a desert... So I really wanted to drink water, but they said I couldn’t drink for 4 hours, so I just kept wetting my throat and endured it So on day 1, I was in pain the whole time because of my throat, but my nose area and the ear area where the cartilage was taken didn’t really hurt much. Today, day 2, I went back to the hospital to have the cotton removed, and once they took it out, I could suddenly breathe through my nose and it felt so good. It was refreshing.. But that only lasted a few hours.. Maybe because of a runny nose, my nose got blocked again, so now I’m breathing through my mouth again.. Still, now I can eat and drink water, so my throat is less dry and I think it’s bearable!! I don’t seem to have much swelling, and I don’t have much pain either! So far, I’ve never once felt that my nose hurt, and even when I look in the mirror, I don’t really feel like it looks swollen, so I’m thinking that’s a relief I want to hurry up and take off the splint and get around a bit more comfortably...
