2-Year Orthodontic Treatment Review

Started orthodontic treatment after turning thirty I didn’t have a protruding mouth, but one upper front tooth was crooked and my lower teeth were uneven, which ended up being surprisingly stressful in daily life I found myself talking with my mouth small, and I envied people with straight teeth So I started! First of all, it was really uncomfortable for about 6 months Food got stuck, and as my teeth moved, there was often a heavy, uncomfortable feeling. There was quite a bit of pain now and then too, especially when they placed screws in my gums. Even though I went in for orthodontic appointments so often, my teeth also yellowed quickly because of the braces. Anyway, after finishing a long 2 years, I’m now only wearing retainers on the inside of the upper and lower teeth. I think this is what I’m most satisfied with after spending money! I’m supposed to wear the appliance 24 hours a day except during meals, but honestly, I’m not doing that well. I’m only wearing it when I sleep, but I should manage it properly Also, my mouth didn’t move inward a lot, and there wasn’t a big change appearance-wise, but my teeth became very straight! If you’re considering orthodontic treatment, do it even one year earlier if you can!
