Dermacne Review

I finished 5 Dermacne sessions + 5 Genesis sessions, and since it was an event period, I got a 40% discount and paid 726,000 won.

Dermacne is a laser that combines Agnes, which destroys the sebaceous glands, and IPL (apparently it has an effect like sterilizing acne bacteria? I’m not exactly sure), and Agnes is a method where thin needles are inserted into each pore and electricity is zapped through to destroy the sebaceous glands, so it really, really hurtsㅠㅠㅠ Even with 20 minutes of numbing cream, it hurt so much every time the electricity was applied that I sweated enough to soak the clothes I came in wearing.. But the effect is really! really! good! I’m now at my 4th session, and my sebaceous glands have decreased a lot, my skin that used to be oily has changed to combination-to-dry, the sebum that was always bumpy around the butterfly zone is gone, and my acne has also dropped to about one-tenth!! After Dermacne, inflammation develops in the destroyed sebaceous glands, so for about 5-7 days your face becomes extremely red and it feels like you have more acne, but if you just endure that period, your skin becomes very smooth!(Of course, scars are leftㅠㅠ)

I’ve struggled with acne since middle school for over 10 years, and I keep thinking I wish I had known about this procedure earlier.. The process is really painful, but the effect is fairly immediate and good, so I think if I had gotten it sooner, the pitted scars and pores I have now wouldn’t have formed.. I really recommend Agnes or Dermacne to people with acne-prone skin that doesn’t improve well!!
