I got nasolabial fold filler because the area next to my nose, where the nasolabial folds start, was so sunken that it looked hollow, and for my chin, I have a receding chin, so I tried it as a test before getting chin-tip advancement.
Because I’m very timid, I chose Restylane, which is said to be the safest, and after 1 year, rather than saying it disappeared, it feels more like it spread out flat.
The nasolabial fold filler had a great effect when I first got it, with satisfaction around 100%, but since I tend to smile broadly a lot, now that 1 year has passed, I think it has moved a bit above the nasolabial folds (this is only my guess). I don’t think it was an issue with the practitioner’s skill level. So it’s actually stressful, and because the flesh above the nasolabial folds can instead become bulky, I don’t really want to recommend it.
For the chin filler, since I have a protruding mouth and a receding chin, I was satisfied with the effect where just having the chin come forward made the protruding mouth look much less noticeable. After 1 year, it feels like about 50% of it has spread out flat, and in the chin area, if you look closely in bright light, the area where the filler went in has uneven borders that look kind of like a map? So I don’t think I’ll get filler again.
Director Min Young-soo is older and has a lot of procedure experience, so he performed the procedure very carefully, and I trusted his accuracy and safety. He also answered questions sincerely, so he’s a doctor I would recommend. The problem was... the consultation manager, who seemed to be in her mid-20s, telling me to do this and that... Patients only trust what the doctor, the expert, says, but she even interrupted the doctor when he was honestly answering my questions hahaha It was a bit absurd. I usually avoid dental clinics like that too^^; It felt pretty severe there, so I decided not to revisit.
