I didn't go to relatively as many places as some other people, but I still chose the hospital I was most drawn to and trusted. And I am extremely satisfied with the result.
The look I wanted was 1. Natural 2. I wanted the line to be visible from the front all the way to the back line 3. Higher than my original line
That was it, and I thought photos would be easier than explaining in words, so I showed the photos I brought, and they recommended an in-out line. But I wanted a higher line than what they first held on my eyes and I like a more glamorous look, so I asked them to make it a little higher, and they recommended a semi-out line. Originally I came thinking of an in-out line, but since semi-out is trendy these days, I thought semi-out would be okay too, so I decided on semi-out.
The surgery was done without sedation anesthesia, which I liked better, and it didn't hurt, but maybe because I tensed up a lot when they did my left eye, it bruised more than the right and the swelling was a little worse. Still, since it was the buried-suture method, from around week 2 it looked natural, so people didn't even really notice I had double eyelid surgery.
The slightly disappointing point is that I had surgery for a semi-out line, but now it has become an in-out line? But I actually like it.. hehe lol At first it was semi-out, but I was worried because it felt a bit unfamiliar on me. I saw someone say that for Asian eyes, it is hard to get an out-line with the buried-suture method alone, so I thought I must be that kind of case too.
Anyway, in conclusion, if you want a natural look, I totally recommend IWBaek
